Mr. Lloyd Horgan

With a number of years of experience working with both Adults and Young People presenting with a wide range of mental health difficulties, Lloyd is a competent and equipped, accredited counsellor skilled in the application of CBT informed Counselling & Psychotherapeutic support amongst many other therapeutic modalities. Lloyd holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy and is currently pursuing an MA (Masters Degree) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Additionally, Lloyd has qualifications in Applied Social Studies & Mental Health Nursing.

In regards to Clinical experience, before setting up Evolve - Lloyd worked for MyMind in Limerick City where he worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds presenting with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

Lloyd previously sat on Limerick’s Youth Advisory Panel for Jigsaw Mental Health for 3 years from which he recently stepped down to take on a new role with Limerick Suicide Watch. Lloyd has been involved with a number of organisations and mental health based projects big and small both locally and nationwide.
