Ms Melissa Anne Griffin

I hold a BA(Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy (First Class Honours) and I am an integrative therapist practicing with different theories suited to the client’s needs and have a person-centred approach to each individual welcoming all and any issues. My aim is to provide a safe place to explore one’s self and enable growth. I have worked with ages 18 – 60 and with a range of different issues such as anxiety, grief, addiction, negative thinking, PTSD, depression, insomnia, stress and more. I have extensive experience in counselling with Domestic Violence and have a particular interest in working with people who have suffered abuse and sexual violence. I am in the process of finishing specialised trainings with Limerick Rape Crisis Centre and also have a private practice based in Galway City called 'Quay Counselling'.
