Details of Approach
I am most passionate about working with individuals who struggle in their relationship with themselves. My aim is to help you to understand and accept yourself, so that you can make changes when you feel ready.
I love working with people and I strive to provide a safe space that is LGBTQI+ affirming, neurodivergent affirming, and pro-choice. In our sessions, you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. It is important to me that you feel heard and understood, as we work together to navigate the complexities of your journey.
Principal Modality
I'm an integrative therapist so my counselling approach is rooted in Person-Centred therapy, while also drawing from other helpful models like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Transactional Analysis. This means I tailor our work together to suit you and what you're going through.
My aim is to offer a warm, supportive space where you feel truly heard and understood. For example, if you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, we might use CBT techniques to gently explore what's going on and find ways to manage it that feel right for you.
I work with adults and teenagers navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and identity issues.
I'm especially passionate about supporting people who've been through difficult or painful experiences. Together, we can make sense of the past and understand how it might be affecting your present — always at your pace, with care and compassion.
