My approach is one of integrative psychotherapy. The theoretical orientation that serves as my foundation is person-centred therapy, to facilitate the building of a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. I support this orientation with cognitive behavioural skills and solution focused competencies which minimizes emphasis on past failings and instead focuses on the clients strengths and previous successes. The formulation of a comprehensive case conceptualization is also a core component of the CBT element of my approach.
