APCP Membership via The Grandparenting Route

In the application process you will be required to provide evidence and information to verify that your experience matches the standards set by APCP in its endeavor to provide a quality and recognised standard of service to the public.

Please have the following documents ready to upload (PDF format only):

Current Insurance Certificate - pdf format
PDF copy of your relevant counselling/psychotherapy qualification or transcripts if applicable – please upload this with the application
Your current Supervisor’s accreditation certificate in pdf format

As a grand parented member there is no fee due for 2024. In this renewal process in January 2025, you will be able to book up to 12 hours from our CPD brochure, further information will be made available to all members prior to the renewal period.

We have allocated 3 CPD hours to you as a newly grand parented member you are welcome to book any of our remaining CPDs for 2024, you can also add CPD at €20 per CPD hour if you wish to do so.

Please note it is the policy of APCP to interview potential candidates, where further clarity is sought regarding their application for membership.
